Jane: I am the shy and awkward middle sister to two beautiful, intelligent, and outgoing women. I have a pair of amazing nieces, an adorable nephew, a smart and strong-willed son, and am married to the best man I've ever met. Raised by a pair of hardworking Cuban immigrants, I grew up with an overwhelming desire to succeed - and found in my amazing mother, the excellent example of one's ability to change their circumstance. I make a conscious effort to be mindful, and grateful for the things I do and do not have -- work, family, friends, health, passion, love, and so much more. Severe empathy is both my greatest strength, and weakness. I find it fuels my compassion and inspiration, as well as my paranoid neurosis -- but ultimately, I love who I am, and enjoy striving to be the best possible version of myself. I'm an introvert, and generally prefer to listen rather than talk--but never watch when I can do. I fear no experience, for I know that growth is inevitable. There's no end to what can be learned.
